On Page 76 (part of the page shown on image left) within the Takara SF Land Evolution (2017) book the first ビーストサーガ (Beast Saga) can be found, in total the book holds 8 pages (P76-P83) with info about this more recent (2012) line by Takara Tomy.

As a Beast Saga fan there are probably a couple of things that jump straight into the eye seeing the Beasts but first let´s have a look at the translation (image above, text left side, part of P76);

Although it was placed to be a remake project of “Battle Beasts (Beastformers)”, the play was developed as a genre of hobby battle according to the times. The Beast warrior figures are set for each type of land, sea, and air. There very real and precise shaping and fine coloring compared with the original, make it so you can feel the technological evolution over the 30 years. It is an ambitious series that developed world items such as vehicles and bases with mini figures as the core, reminiscent of former Takara SF Mind.

Well whether these are THE result of 30 years evolution of the Battle Beasts from the 80´s is debatable but it was clear this line was an attempt by Takara Tomy to do so. It was already clear to the BB Community that the Beast Saga line was completely inspired by the original Battle Beast line but it was never explicitly shared as such by Takara Tomy if we´re correct but the Index page of this book already confirmed that with this line; 2012, ビーストサーガ,「ビーストフォーマー」のリメイク企画。(P.078)  (2012, Beast Saga, A remake project of “Beastformers”. (P.078)) While adding this line to this article it directly shows there´s a mistake in the Index because unlike mentioned the Beast Saga content does start on Page 76 instead of 78… But it is clear that the Beast Saga line was launched as a remake of the Beastformers.

Translation of the text in the text-box (image above, text in text-box right side, part of P76)

Beast Fight Collection
Beast Warrior figures is about 6cm tall. The cube is launched from the shooter built in his chest and rolls the battle dice. Weapons, shields, battle dice and exclusive card are included.

Which is nothing more than a brief introduction of the figure and the content it came with.

Now let´s have a look at the image itself because even there are a couple of notes to place. Hard to tell what jumps into the eye most but let´s start with the figures on the image that were never released! On the left side behind the ビッグセロウ (Big Serow, Deer) a figure with Yellow armor can be seen which is the unreleased Red Panda figure while behind the ライオーガ (Leogre, Lion) another unreleased figure, the Mandrill, is shown. This, together with the other details, shows that this picture was extracted from an early prototype phase. Supporting this thought is the presence of stickers instead of the original dices on the places where these are supposed to be and the color schemes of some of the figures. Some colors are a bit off compared to the actual released figures while on the Buffalo, on the right, details and colors are shown that never made it onto the released version while for the Deer the opposite goes where the released version had more details added in comparison to this one with a plain green armor. For the Beastformers content (HERE) they shot a completely new picture to introduce the line, with the figures shown in the checklist, while for the Beast Saga they chose to work with a picture pulled from the archive? The pictures they took for the following pages (P76-P80), containing the checklist showing all released Beast Saga figures excluding the Clear Versions and the ビーストサーガ (Beast Saga W) mini figures by Kabaya, show that they probably still had most of them around. Since the pictures shown there are not the exact pictures of the figures shown on the Original Beast Saga Website

This is how the Beast Saga checklist pages in the book are composed (image right, part of P78) in which all the released figures pass by in coherence with the Tribe (Land, Sea, Air) they represent. In this case the final few Beasts from the Land tribe are shown together with and introduction of the Sea Tribe followed by the Leader of the Sea Tribe; キラーシャーク (Killer Shark).
